South Andean Gas Pipeline

The project consists of designing, constructing and operating the pipeline that will transport natural gas from the reserves located in the Cusco region to the cities of Cusco, Juliaca, Arequipa, Matarani and the port of Ilo, close to the border of Peru with Chile.

With an estimated total length of 1,085 km (675 miles), the South Andean Gas Pipeline will enable the development of petrochemical plants, the installation of electric power plants, allow small to large industrial and residential customers to switch to a more efficient energy source and the possible commercialization of compressed natural gas in the south of Peru.
